((RP journal: character is from the I Love Bees ARG, part of the extended Halo universe. I'm not Jersey, I just play him on the internet, and he is in fact property of Bungie and 4orty2wo Entertainment (I think).

Jersey, as he is at the moment, is nineteen years old and a Marine in the Covenant war - albeit one with a couple of unusual tricks up his sleeve. For one? He's friends with a powerful ex-military AI on the edge of rampancy, Durga (who will, if requested IC or OOC, turn her uber-hacker talents to anything needed - her journal is

a_little_sting). For another... he's got a certain affinity for ancient 'Forerunner' technology, using and understanding it by reflex. Something's up there.

As a partial result of this, he's frequently accompanied in the Nexus by a Forerunner Sentinel, a couple of metres long hovering robot drone. He tends to use it as transport when he's showing off (and given his personality, this is pretty often).

Note: telepaths will have a *bad* time getting anything from his mind, and any attempts to directly control/influence him mentally will slide off.

He's a generally easy-going and somewhat cocky kind of guy most of the time, who likes 20th century jazz music, hates jokes about his name, and wonders why nearly everyone he meets from his world is in powered armour.
